Continuity (yes, that is the flower Kirby gave Jigglypuff way back in comic 09)!

I like the way the colors came out on this one. It was a somewhat tricky process to eliminate all the outlines, but the soft, storybook look works well for the subject matter this time.

I’d like to clear something up though–Kirby is NOT aware that he’s carving into Whispy Woods. The gag is that his sweet display of affection is inadvertently causing another pain. If he knew the ramifications of his actions…well, that’d just be mean of him!
